Most places give drum lessons in a cookie-cutter, uniformed way. Where every student has to conform to the same teaching style. But not everyone can learn a skill the same way. As someone who has taken drum lessons from a number of teachers throughout my 20+ years of playing, I've seen what to do, and what not to do when it comes to teaching. I've learned that each student has to be taught in a unique way that's built around their needs. If you want to learn how to play the drums in the comfort of your own home, at the comfort of your own speed, then I'm the one to call. My curriculum includes a number of topics including how to pick out the right drum set, setting up the drum set to your comfortable specifications, learning how to quickly learn new songs, reading charts and sheet music, different genres, taking care of your instrument, how to book gigs, how to be a professional musician, and, of course, how to play! I believe that anyone can learn how to play an instrument. Whether for fun, or as a career choice, it is possible for anyone. Beginners, intermediate, and beyond, all are welcome.
